The best feature of Joomla is the fact that it is free to all users. It is available and used all over the world. Joomla has been designed, not just for normal web sites, but also as a serious competitor for non-open source Content management system'. It is used in simple websites to big complex projects. From time to time joomla creates modules, which is made of few HTML codes. There are modules which contains only one line of javescript code. What many don’t know is the fact that these types of modules are created in few seconds in joomla.
Joomla provides you with default templates and modules, if you feel you want something beyond the existing modules then you have options to create one Module of from the options available, and you could name is as per your requirements. Now you can use the easiest method to create your own module, you don’t have to set any parameters as such besides the standard as there is already a positioning parameter.

As is true in all areas of life, you do not get something for nothing and the ease of installation you gain from Xampp has its own drawbacks and these are that you suffer a lack of customizability; in truth you will find that wherever ease of use is increased, customization is decreased.
Still, if you are looking to develop in Joomla! it is not necessary to know anything about these programs, aside from how to make a MySQL database.

 The first reason I chose Joomla! is simple is power. Joomla! is a CMS which stands for Content Management System; it is an application that designs webpages. While Joomla! is Template driven it is does not suffer the inherent lack of customization you may encounter in other template designing programs because you are of course completely free to alter the templates. On the other hand, you do not have to. There are hundreds of free Joomla! templates available for download and personal or commercial use. If you want to be unique and independent and put in a little extra hard work, you can. If you want a powerful, content driven site quickly, that perhaps is a little lacking in individuality you can have that too. Joomla! really does offer you the best of both worlds, which is why over a hundred thousand people use it world wide (and that's not even counting Mambo).
